Beyond Belief hunting video

Anyone seen the 'Beyond Belief' hunting video? There are some pretty impressive marksmen on that show. 1 shot on an elk at 802 yds...........I'm not condoning shooting at game that far, but damn they make some good shots. They offer 2 rifles on their site, although be prepared to give your left arm for one.

I shot a Timber wolf at 760Meters with a Rem 700 Police in 300WM using a 178 AMax handload.


it can be done but so much can go wrong at that distance I don't know if I would pull the trigger again...

I have the vid. Not bad shooting by various ppl. That being said, anyone can do the same with the proper fine tuned gun,optics,and knowing ballistics.

The reason I mentioned was because it is hunting, not target shooting.
To me, the range doesn't matter, you don't hunt a target!

I have the "How to shoot beyond belief" video that is a 10 hour instructional taught by John Burns. It is a great video and well worth the $100.

Having said that he only recommends taking those types of shots after you have the proper equipment, you know how to use all of it, spent the time at the range and under ideal conditions.

I don't see a problem with it.

There is a fair amount of marksmanship involved as well.
Long range hunting and long range shooting take more than just equipment.
Every aspect of shooting a rifle is amplified at long range.
Just being able to dope the wind is a big thing, and you can't buy that kind of experience.
