BI-Pod Opinins

Looking for a bi-pod to match up with my ATRS 50 bmg. I've read all over the Internet but can't decide. Looking for opinions from those who have a 50 and what your using and why you like it or don't. And if you don't what you would replace it with and why.

Cadex recently posted a pic of the Tremor with their new bipod. Apparently it will be unvailed around SHOT.

Think big and beefy.

Skip the Harris and ATLAS. While great bi-pods, they wouldn't be my first pick for a 50BMG.

Don't have a 50, but got a beefy bipod from LRA via PGW.

The new atlas h5 would be heavy enough to support a 50. I use the factory bipod that came with my m99.

Do you have any videos of how easy it is to adjust the legs and can't from the prone position? What are you charging for them?

I can say that adjusting the legs will be easier then on a Harris in the prone position and certainly no worst then any folding bipod I am aware of.

Changing the cant will be a simple twist of a lever, roll rifle to level, twist lever to tighten.. and it will stay put.

The question was a suitable bipod for a 50BMG- the MPOD IS a viable option... and a number of shooters have been very happy with it under their boomers. I certainly dont see any arm twisting going on....just another option.

Question, as having never shot a 50 before. How much torque is there? Is there enough locking friction in the bipods cant device to negate the effects of torque? I assume the lra must due to its popularity.
