I wouldn't be caught dead with one of these things mounted on a general-purpose hunting rifle, but I like bipods on varmint or predator guns. I like the Harris as well, the taller one as mentioned above that allows for shooting from a sitting position.
I also have a couple of Versa Pods along with a bunch of adaptors for them. They attach and detach much more easily for me than the Harris ones, so I don't walk around with one on my gun, but they can be snapped on instantly if wanted.
For most hunting, if I think I might need to carry along my own rest instead of improvising something in the field, I prefer a BogPod or a set of Steady Stix over anything that is actually attached to the gun.
