Biathelon Rifle

I don't know a lot about biathlon but a lot of the olympic biathlon athletes use the anschut 1827 fortner. This is a 54 action, repeater but will be quite expensive. You can get these at target shooting products (international imports). On the cheaper skale I understand that some of the Izhmash's (CM2) would be good choices.

Thanks this is not an Anschut I am familiar with them shot them lots as a kid .This rifle I purchased from an ex biathlete for a very good price .Iam mostly curious about it weather its still made in case I ever need a part for it ,as of now it shoots excellent (first time out shot 5 rounds in a 3/8in group @50 yrds )and gets a lot of comments from people who have never seen a rifle like this.I have found some web pages with Finn rifles info but its all high power stuff .This post has already got several feedbacks someone should have the answer .
Thanks again

Is this a Finnish Lion ISU Std? If so, it's a Valmet rifle (now a part of Sako since 1987).
This rifle was made from 1966 to about 1987, before being replaced by the Sako rifle.
There was at least four version of this rifle; ISU Standard, Champion (1966-72), International (1978-87 var. Junior), and the Match (1966-1987).

Now, need some pics to make up what you have.
