"Some info: This is MAGPUL 9MM 10/17 i use for my Vector 9mm. After only 20-30 rounds on each mag, the normally Orange follower was entirely blacked out like this.

I wonder if it's because of the cheap ammo, or i'm just a noob. Ammo used was 9mm 115gr FMJ UMC Remington and PMC Bronze 9mm 115gr FMJ. I highly suspect the PMC Bronze since i used the UMC before and didn't dirted out the gun so much."

Vector was still running fine, but i don't want it to have issues when i use it for prolonged sessions of shooting or when i don't clean it every time i go out. I'm 99% sure it's a ammo problem.

Yep similar results in my JRC 9mm with Glock mags. Doesn't seem to hurt function thankfully. Leaves your hands nice and dirty though!

Also used Remington UMC and CCI Blazer Brass with the same results.

I've run the 9mm UMC through a Glock and didn't have anywhere near that bad of buildup after 500+ rounds. I'd say it may be a quirk of the firearm used (I've never used a Vector or JRC) combined with type of powder.

I've never had an issue in any firearm with a surface carbon buildup causing issues. If it gets thick enough to start to chip off and have flakes or chunks of compacted carbon get into the action I have had issues in .22lr semi's before.
