(sorry for my english)
Hello, i just come back from USA and some bodys of mine shooted big bore air rifles there. They use it for hunting. Back in Canada, i am looking for bigbore air rifle to hunt in Québec. I think that here, in Québec, we have a law saying that air rifle for hunting need 1000fps. But anyway, i saw an air rifle in 357 doing it. It was from Crosman, so i wonder if its possible to get one over here. If its impossible, i wonder if someone in Canada build Big bore air rifles.
If there's nobody doing it, i would like to build my own. I have all the tools to do it, but no idea for the moment about the blueprint.

Please, if you have any ideas about dealer or blue print, let me know.

Since you would need a PAL anyway to buy any airgun with a muzzle velocity greater than 495 fps, why not just buy a real centerfire rifle?

Big bore airguns rarely crack 600fps like the .50 Dragon. Most are Korean made but quality arms. They have been killing all manner of big game in Europe since the 1600's...Harold

Yes, i am seriously interested by the Crosman one, but since they dont sell this one in Canada, i have to look for a solution.

About rimfires, i have almost everykind of rimfires you can find on the market. I just want to add a new toy to my collection, a Bigbore air rifle going to 1000fps (because of the Quebec firearms law for Hunting)

Either buy one in the states and register it while you are down there, and bring it back, or wait until we no longer have to register long guns. I don't believe the US considers their airguns firearms, so its no problem for you to buy it and export it from the US perspective.

Last I looked, the Crosman Rogue was in short supply in the US.

I saw that Rogues were priced around $1200.00 in the US and they have a shrouded barrel which will keep them ouy of Canada for sure.

Had the opportunity this past summer to fire a 45 calibre airgun pushing a 500 grain (or so) slug. Quite the amazing airgun. And yes, it was in Canada, and the gun is now about two years old, made in the US loosely based on the Crossman. (not the Rogue)

I think he was getting about 3 full power shots from a fill from a SCUBA tank.
