BDS Precision Rifle Match Sept. 10-11
http://www.bigdogsteel.com/bdsprrima.html
We are pleased to announce our first annual BDS Precision Rifle Match. This match will be the precursor to the first ever PRS scheduled match to be held in the spring of 2017. Whether you plan to shoot the 2017 Ohio PRS match or just enjoy long range shooting, you will not want to miss this event.
The BDS PRM will be held at the Beautiful Rayners Facility in Blue Rock, OH. Expect a fun match with minimal down time between stages. Rayners features several areas that are perfect for precision rifle shooting with shots capable of 1,000+ yards. Target sizes will vary based on position and distance.
Our perfect scenario would be to keep you moving, but allow you enough time to mingle and enjoy the match.
Registration will open July 15th at noon EST.
Match Registration will be $159. Registration will be done on a first come first served basis. The match will be limited to the first 100 competitors. A wait list will be made available should the match go over the allotted amount of competitors.
Big Dog Steel will be producing and providing some of our original trophies for the top 5 places. We will provide a small pulled pork BBQ dinner on Sunday, 9/11, following the event. A moment of silence will be observed on Sunday across the range at 8:46am. The moment the first tower was struck. If you are shooting the match we encourage you to wear something patriotic on Sunday.
Details: Round count will be approx. 160 rounds to complete the course of fire. The round count may be further refined as we move closer to the match.
Caliber will be restricted to 300WM and below. Muzzle velocity will be restricted to 3,150fps. Competitors may be checked at random.
Registration and check in will be from 7:00am to 8:00am on Saturday morning. No Friday check-in will be required for this match. Please plan to arrive a few minutes before registration opens. You must register and fill out your release prior to zero'ing. Please plan accordingly.
A zero range will be open from 7:30am to 8:00am on Saturday morning.
Match briefing and announcements will start at 8am and shooting will start no later than 8:46am. I would plan to be completed with the day one course of fire around 4:30-5pm.
On Sunday please plan to arrive at approx. 7:30am and be ready to start shooting no later than 8:30am. We are hoping to start the awards ceremony and dinner around 1pm on Sunday afternoon.
