Rifle and longbow for big game here for me. I will use a longbow for the first part of the season. After that I will be using 30-06 and 375 H and H

the "firearm" that I will be using for hunting this yr will most likely be my Sako A7 in 7mm-08, she owes me a big buck!

Both rifle and slug barreled shotgun depending on where I am hunting.

For the early ML season, a traditional Lyman Deerstalker in .54 Perc., for the rifle season, I have lots of choices including many modern, scoped, long range rifles, but will fall back on my 3 favs. Marlin 45/70, '74 C. Sharps 50/90 w/Bp, and Win. '94 ae in .356 Win.

Churchill enfield in .303 brit with original battle sights for Vancouver island, Stevens 350 with iron sighted short barrel and slugs for the little island. Hopefully a deer with each.

I too use recreational firearms not weapons. Mostly a 243 for coyotes & a 280 for big game.

Damn I don't own any weapons so I can't participate in this thread now if you asked what firearms then I would start with my T/C Contender carbine with one of my 10 carbine barrels or my 18.6" barreld XCR-L in 6.8spc...

May even pull out one of my Rem 700 LSS's in either 30-06, 300RUM or 375RUM...

May even carry my Marlin 1895GS in 45-70 for the fun of it...

Too bad I don't have a weapon though I hate being left out...
