I ordered a reproduction mosin Nagant scope because I figure why buy an original for more than 5 times the price to get an old worn out scratched scope when I could get a new one for $130 Canadian. It is made in Russia came in a box with Russian on it with Russian instructions. Thankfully I found English instructions in the cardboard box it came in. I am bolting the scope mount on an exsniper. So numbers won't match on the scope anyway if I bought an original off eBay.
Tomorrow I will be drilling and tapping the exsniper and mounting the scope.
Any experts on mounting a PU scope mount? I am going to try and put the big screws in and the use a dremel to cut the arc in the screw head while its bolted in to fit the keeper screws. When all 4 screws are in the mount I am going to drill the holes for the pins and tap them in last. Will loctite everything.
Again the scope from Hical is a quality product for the budget minded mosin fan.
