If a gun is sold, described as being "new", it better darned well look new.

Otherwise, I would not be willing to assume that it was only shop worn by cutomers handing it, and only test fired by the factory.

I would suspect store staff of trying it out, or, letting buddies shoot it just to see what that sort of rifle felt like to shoot.

You were mistreated before you get your new rifle. Hope you like the new one.

Glad you finally got your happy new toy. Hard to believe all the excuses the local small town folks made for that previous fiasco. Hope you got refunded the shipping cost from them to you, if not be sure to contacted your Credit card company stating fraud cause brand new is brand new, small town NB may not know what that means but the CC company does.

so looking at getting into big bore shooting this summer and have been looking at this rifle, is there any thing one should know between the 300wm and 338? pros vs. cons?

300 wm u can find many different kinds of ammo abywhere. 338 LM lil less but if you're thinkin of gettin 110 then you prob reload for better accruacy.
its peoples taste on what they really wanna shoot.
300WM 338 win brass with shoulder and case moved very lil. If its problem the neck is less then 1 cal in length. 300 win mag can both be used on any games in canada and both 1000 yard matches with right power and bullet load.

338 lapua on the other hand uses heavier bullets then 300. this cartrage was only discovered around 30 years i believe and the brass is actually 416 Rigby necked down. Many police and Military for sniping people at 1000yard range and tactacal perpose mostly. does fly flat and has more energy over great ranges then 300wm. some people do hunt big games with it but i dont see you hunting anything with savage 110 since they are heavy.
I dont really see pros/ cons here since both caliber are very accruate and known to work well on long range. its just what you wanna shoot with it. If you dont reload maybe 300wm since there are cheaper and many options with 30cal rounds then 338.

personally i would get 338L only because its just my taste with that tactical look of 110BA. but if you wanna get into long range, the scope will cost about the same as rifle. for cheaper and that works i find vortex will work fine. dont need super scope that can handle hard kick since 110ba dont kick at all with the brake. Should feel like shootin 270 or better.

Hope ya find a perfect toy to play around with for this summer!

Talk about "Get over it."

Read the title of this thread, read the posts, it's a thank you theme with just one mention of history.

Get over defending TGD.
