Well after Darrel contact me on his own accord and after lots of PM's and phone calls I finally loaded up my new Savage BA 110 .338 Lapua and all my reloading supplies and head out to visit Darrel. What a learning experience I went from never hand loading a round in my life to going through all the steps to develop a custom round and really going over what it takes to hand load a "match Round". Darrel went out of his way to answer all my questions and there were tons of them, and sacrificed his whole day to help me out. It is definitely shooters like this that well help this long distance shooting grow. I just wish we had more shooting time but learning the in's and outs of reloading and load development was an awesome experience. I build and fabricate on race cars and such and love the whole experimenting mentality that goes into finding that perfect load. :) Then to top off an already great day after putting his 50 Cal next to mine and comparing scopes his NF vs. my Sightron Darrel tossed me some 50 BMG rounds and let me fire his beast :) Pretty much been the gun I have always wanted to shot, and something that I well brag about for a long time coming. Just wanted to share a positive experience with a great board member and look forward to shooting all these 300 Grainers we loaded up. Ron
