Hedgehog came by my place and lent me his brain for a few hours yesterday. I have had two Lee 1000s mounted for a while now. One in 9mm and one in .45. I have messed around and taken them apart a couple of times. I read a couple of the popular reloading books but never really got comfortable. I know many people hate the priming system but once you get the feel of it and know what causes the issues it's not a problem. I learned why one of my .45s wouldn't go into full battery with some reloads. Even though the OAL was "textbook" once I shortened it a bit no more issues. I always thought it was the crimp. I am really slow as I probably have a little OCD. I check and double check everything. I probably only pumped out about 200 rounds in two hours but they are a thing of beauty! :D

Nothing wrong with taking your time until you are comfortable with what your doing.

So he lent you his brain. Did you give it back? Some gunners are very bad at returning things.

Good ole Hedgy! He helped me out bigtime last year and I really appreciated it. He also proved a point; you can't judge a book by the cover. Hedgy may not be much to look at, but deep down (really really deep down), he's smart and helpful.. :p
