I want to say a big thank you to MURDOC! I recieved my FN Five-Seven today after purchasing it on the EE. Freakin beautiful.....As it turns out it is an original version that was never made availble commercially. !!! Range report soon to come

The one you held is the U.S model , the one strangeday has was made in Belgium not U.S, and sold to military or police as where the one above is the U.S civvie version.

It's all good, though the 20 shot magazine stateside was a nice touch. I've loved this concept since the old days when I saved up for one of these, only to have it banned before I got it. Thirty shots of .22 Magnum would have been fun.

Well, ammo has been the trick. I obviously can't fire the SS190's but the SS169's were made for the non-military firearms. It looks like i can get those.

Manufacturing of the 5.7 x 28 mm ammunition by FIOCCHI now underway and soon with FIOCCHI in the USA.
