I was going through some older posts and noticed you said you were going up North for Moose. I ran into a gang of fellas this year in the bush from Peterborough area, and I was just wondering if you were in their party. It was around Matheson area. Best, cheapsk8
 
BIGREDD doesn't exist... he is a fictional character that only exists on the internet. He was created as a combined effort by DarrylDB and Chilly Willy to showcase their firearms/shooting wisdom and hunting prowess that is so prevalent in the far reaches of Eastern Canada.

There is not a shooter on the net who has not heard of him, and not a hunter from back east that doesn't want to be just like him. In fact, in Ontario he's surpassed in popularity only by the Easter Bunny and Spiderman.

So no... that could not have been him....sorry to break the bad news... Santa Claus isn't real either (grin).

BIGREDD fried his NIC and was off line for a day... I had a call from 280Ackley and he said he missed me bad... so I raced into town and grabbed a new ethernet card. I am back now, so don't worry little buddy I will never leave you again.:D

Hey cheapsk8 I was not in Matheson hunting moose this fall... but I have been there in the past... I remember this one particular blueberry blonde...;)

What corner are you hunting up near Matheson? Matheson is my hometown, I now live 45 minutes away but it's still my ussual stomping ground as my parents have a cottage 15 minutes up the East Hwy towards the Quebec border.

I also went to school there. As far as the hunting ground, the moose we shot, (see the thread 30-30 for moose, there are pics of me linked), was on Munro(sp) Lake road. In the general neighbourhood of your parent's cottage. I am now in Timmins. PM me with your offline name, we probably know one another.
