Have a SBE3 20 gauge and wondering if anyone has advice, with actual experience, on choke recomendations. Choke brand as well as ammo used and distance shot would be appreciated. Thanks Chris

Hey Chris,

M2 20 with a Primos Tightwad and Win Longbeard XR, 3" 6s.

Easily kill a bird as far as I will ever shoot.

Well I bought a Carlson Longbeard XR choke. Shot a Federal Premium Heavyweight TSS 7 at 30 yards and had an 8” tight circle of no escape. Ive never seen that many pellets in the kill zone other than my 10 gauge with Comp’N’Choke turkey tube. Gonna shoot a few more brands and will post some pics. Thanks for the advice.

The two targets on the top were both shot with Federal Premium Heavyweight TSS 1 1/2 ounce number 7. The first at 30 yards without glasses and the second with my cheaters at 35 yards. The third target is with Kent TK7 at 30 with my cheaters. The fourth target is with Heavishot 5,6,7 1 1/4 ounce at 30 yards without my cheaters. Shoot too the left without my goggles and better with them. Hard time focussing on that tiny little red bead of my Binelli. Maybe Ill put on one of the big dots. All loads will cleanly kill a turkey, especially if the operator centers them in the pattern. The Federals will be the ones definately in my gun with this choke.
