I'm looking to buy order a Pentax PF-80EDA and they have them on sale for $800+ but it shows sold out and you can still add it to your cart. I sent an email yesterday that went unanswered as well as 2 phone calls and a message left on their system to please get a hold of me when they can. Still haven't heard back.
Their policy says if you pay for an item that is out of stock they will notify you when it is available or if the item is not available for some time we will notify you and you have a choice whether to wait or cancel the order.
All as I'm trying to find out is if they are expecting any or if they out of stock for the long haul.
I have no problem paying and waiting a couple to three weeks but I hate having to deal with companies refunding my money. Last time this happened with Costco they ended up charging my credit card three times, putting it over the limit and they had nothing to say but sorry. Also happened with an electronics dealer who took over 30 days to refund my money on an item that was supposedly in stock. Had to file a (FRAUD ALERT) dispute.
Does anybody have any links or have any contact with an individual shop with similar pricing?
