I have looked thru a few pair now that the LGS has said have the most eye relief, but they still do not give me a good view without the image being smaller than without glasses. What is every one that wears glasses using for BINOS. Man it sucks having to wear them, especially so many years that I did not need to. I cannot even read the speedometer now without them, let alone cut a tag.

Finding a good binocular for use with glasses has always been a problem. I bought a pair of Minox BL 10 x 42 BR binoculars that work very well. These are a much higher grade of optics than many but reasonably priced. They focus down to about 10 feet for bird watching. Previously I had a set of Swarovski binoculars. I prefer the Minox.

Bushnell used to sell binos set up for glasses wearers. 8 and 10 x 42 if memory serves. Ive had a pair for over a decade. Decent though not great glass. But well worth what they cost. - dan

I have had good luck with Vortex Viper 10x42 and my wife’s Razors 8x42 both with glasses for several years and without after cataract surgery. I find they are fine with sun glasses as well.

Awesome thanks everyone for the input, time to go shopping. I never thought of the strap idea, I usually put them on my head and then they fall off in the mud or snow getting out of the pu.

I can't see s*** without glasses but get along really well using steiner 8x42 and getting them at half price was even better. Also have a compact set of steiners for in stand but don't work near as well with glasses. Weird thing, I have a buddy who doesn't wear glasses but for some reason can't see anything when he looks through binos. Must have walleye vision.

My old Bausch and Lomb with fold down eye cups worked fine with my glasses, but after many years of leaving the cups folded down (opposite of manufacturers recommendation) they started to crack. My current binos are cabelas euro HD’s with twist up eye cups, when twisted all the way down they work fine for me.

We use Minox BL's 8x32 and 8x42. They have twist-out eye-cup.
- I use them with the eye-cup out. No glass
- The wife use them with the eye-cup in. She wears glass, and likes them.

I've been wearing glasses for over 50 years. I have a pair of Bushnell Legend Ultra HD 8x36 binos (nothing special) that I carry when hunting or just average viewing. I have no problem using them. Not only that I wear progressive lenses. Works just fine for me.

I'd contact the boys down at Peelee Wings near Point Peelee. I believe they are about the biggest premium optics dealer in Canada because of all the birders who go to the Provincial Park.
If they cant help you nobody can.

As a matter of fact, we are staying in a cottage just a mile down the road from Peelee Wings this coming week.

certainly look for the twist type 'eye-cups' .... I can manage to focus most binoculars so that I dont have to wear my glasses ... but when I do wear the glasses the rubber fold-down type eye pieces are a PITA. ... and thats what most of my binoculars are equipped with :( ... Also I second the motion about contacting Peelee Wings..... these days there are some very reasonably priced binoculars that are excellent.
