Have the Barska from Cabelas. Program at least four of your digits, lest you have a faulty or injured finger/ thumb. Push button to wake it up, finger on the reader, 10 seconds and you're ready. The Gun Safe pictured doesn't seem to have separate space for the loaded mag beside the gun.
I think it was Wolverine who had them. I know guys were getting them from Amazon.ca but they show as unavailable now. I've been looking at this unit, it's RFID not biometric though.

I've seen one of those demnonstrated - excellent safe, only one problem; it plugs in. It does have battery back up, but depending on where you want to put it, that could cause an issue. The RFID is very slick and the safe is extremely fast, in a situation where you used a pistol for home defence, that safe could make the difference between going to court and p*ssing off a Crown Council.

"Also if you are planning on this being a bedroom safe etc think about how the print reader may be effected when you hands are sweaty, covered in hand lotion, lube or bodily fluids"
Those who think ahead and take into account all scenarios will truly inherit the earth.![]()
for guys who've been married a while, that's not an issue
just use the RFID bracelet
