Bipod question!

I prefer the Harris.
If a spigot is inserted into the end of the forend, a Versa (or Parker Hale, from which the Versa was copied), can be neatly mounted and dismounted, without leaving the lump of an adapter on the forend.

I think the Parker Hale(style) and Harris fall under completely two different concepts and purposes. The Harris to me is generally a quick, expedient bipod, no frills...particularly the non swivel, 6-9" one, it obviously isn't leveling but it just supposed to be a fast pod.

The ParkerHale type is bulkier, more adjustable and some might say the (Versa) is tougher than the Harris.

I've read that the Versa is tougher than a Harris as well! I just don't like spending my money On 'made in china" stuff!

I've seen bipods on turkey guns. It helps with flinching due to recoil. Also less movement. But anyway for hunting I prefer the harris 13-26". I can laydown or sit in weeds and still use it in the field. Its fast easy and it works
