Bipod recomendations for R22?

Looking for a bipod for putting on my new R22 for bench/prone shooting. I have never bought a bipod before and I don't know a whole lot about them. Only ones I can find locally mount off the front sling/swivel.. which the R22 doesn't have.

Anyone recomend a bipod that would fit the bill for it?
 
Seeing as how the handguard is made of aluminum, I'm thinking it might not be too difficult to have a smith install (or you can do it yourself if you're tooled up to do it) a sling stud on the underside of the handguard. Then you can use one of Harris bipods...

According to the Rhineland website "The hand Guards are threaded on the bottom for rails and accessories." for what it's worth...

The R22 was suppose to be shipped with a sling swivel that could be mounted in the holes on the bottom of the forestock, If that changed you could drill and tap a hole in the aluminum for the swivel...Thats what I am going to do if mine is missing the hole...It should be here any time. Apparently it was shipped last fri, how long did your take to get to you?

I saw on an american site that the r22 was shipped with a swivel stud and there were holes in the bottom of the handguard to put it. Maybe it was a gen one version.

I still havent got mine! The Reg Cert arrived on Thurs! I called and appearantly it was shipped last fri?

I do alot metal work and if someone needs a hole tapped(in Abby) for a swivel I will be doing mine, I wouldn't mind doing it
 
the rifle should look like this (it supposedly is says somthing in morse code?)underneath and should ship with a swivel stud. If you havent got one i guess you will have to get is something like an uncle mikes swivel stud adapter. they do two sorts, one screws into the stock the other uses a bolt conected to the stud and a bolt that you tighten on the other side this is the sort you want (assuming it wont go throught the pre drilled holes!)

pic top left (you want the bolt part of this set) these are used often on plastic and where the wood is too thin for the screw type. you may have to cut the bolt part shorter.

extra edit how are you finding your R22 (they look fun and i may get one when i can eventualy get my hand on one over on this side of the pond.
