i read about a gun with bipods will shoot different then when it didnt have bipods this and was just wondering how?
If your barrel is freefloated the pressure point shouldnt change.

There are several possible scenarios here , some do and some do not affect how the rifle shoots. On most hunting rifles that are free floated, but the bipod attaches to the sling stud, it is possible for the clearance to close up while shooting off the bipod if the shooter pulls the rifle down and into the shoulder. Wooden and tupperware stocks are the worst offenders here. Not likely to happen with a good quality glass stock. Heavy varmit and tactical style stocks in which either a rail is inletted into the stock or a bipod spud is installed in the end, this is far less likely to have any effect, due to the sheer structure of the stock.
The other way that a bipod can change how a rifle shoots is when being shot offhand, the bipod can have an effect on the overall harmonics of the rifle, sometimes altering the POI from the same rifle without the bipod attached.
I strongly advocate if its a hunting rifle , shoot it as you plan to use it in the field.
