Bought myself a new shotgun, I also got a TS Save-It Shell Catcher by Birchwood Casey.
Took out the shotgun to pattern it. Installed the shell catcher as the directions state.
Shot the gun and the shell catcher flew as far as the spent casing. Installed it again shot again off it went again.
It never stayed on during the patterning.
Went for a regular shoot the other day and could not get it to stay on that day either.
Got myself another shell catcher from them (the wire one) it too does not work either as it has a front tab that is bent out than goes under the bolt release, this bend stops the bolt release from working.
Sent them an email about the product and not a peep back, very poor service.

I have a beretta a300 ultima, the wired shell catcher needed modification for it to work because of the enlarged bolt release. Quick work with a grinder.

What kind of shotgun did you get? The old style TS shell catcher's work perfectly if you can find one made for your gun. It might cost more than the gun though.
