Hi was wondering if any members could recommended some places to hunt for Ruff Grouse or Pheasant in and around Orangeville. Asking for my brother and my nephew who is dying to try out his new apprentice licence. As well as the model 42 410 I loaned him for the task

Luther Marsh is a relatively short distance from Orangeville and has both wild ruffs and stocked pheasants. When I last hunted the place, it was $15 to enter. There are also about 10 plots of Crown Land both east and west of Luther Marsh from about 50-150 acres.

With Regards,

Frank

Thanks Frank

Thanks Frank did a search on the net and also came up with Luther Marsh. Much appreciated

I'm glad to hear that my info has been of some help.

I think that there is also one game bird hunting preserve around Orangeville. Though it only allows hunting by means of an annual permit, perhaps Conestogo Lake Conservation Area might strike your fancy next year. It is further West.

Regards,

Frank
