My long ago home town. I get it man. It's a damn shame how tough our politicians have made it for independently owned firearms retailers to exist. We're still pretty fortunate in Alberta to have some very good ones but we've taken our lumps as well.

No truer words have been spoken. I'm now in a place storage and use wise where it makes sense for me to thin my collection down. It's like giving up your kids for adoption and its killing me to figure out which will go.
 
Got a bipod on it now, going to the range Tuesday to zero in the scope (or try to) and just did the hunter safety course. Hopefully go for some small game in the fall.

Just got back from the range, thing is an absolute laser beam at 50y, even my girlfriend who doesn’t shoot ever was landing one-two inch groups and even smacked a round twice through the same hole. The blazer soft point was way off and hard to adjust for, the federal hollow point was perfect!

FYI. Wind effects 22LR more than you think. Something you may want to do some research on.

Also bulk ammo. You may need to accept a certain level of accuracy.

Oh for sure, it was my first time shooting it so wasn’t sure what to expect but I was dialing in the scope for what felt like 15 rounds and getting no where with it, changed to the federal and it was giving pin holes in the bullseye. Definitely something to practice with for a while before hunting season begins.

In my experience, the 455s have a bit nicer workmanship than the newer 457s, but nothing beats the 452s.

Try some TAC 22 when you get a chance, all mine love it, and it is reasonably priced too.
