Seeing the new version of bismuth shot starting to appear again on some of the reloading US sites
Only a 6.6 pound jug ranging between $165 and $180 bucks US
OUCH can just imagine the price by the time it hits canada
Cheers

Rio is loading factory Bismuth shot.It is available in the US,but have not seen it in Canada yet. They are loading it in 28 gauge as well.

I hear you,Mac.At least its nice to see Bismuth back on the market again.

Agree. I reloaded the original stuff for a couple of years way back when the steel first came out and it worked very well in the old 10ga sp-10
If we ever get to a stage I have to reload it in the 28ga to upland hunt with my guns it will be time for me to take up golfing I think and the 28ga's will be off to brothers in the US

When I first starting loading bismuth it was $125 for 7lbs I bought 5 jugs next and last time I bought it $160 a jug I bought 2 jugs I figure now it will be $225 a jug number that will be bought 0 jugs . Still have a few left and some loaded ammo us it mostly in my model 21 other than that I having been shooting steel out of a couple of factory modified choked model 12's not worried about damaging the gun it just doesn't kill as well as the bismuth

I had enough Bismuth laid up that when the supply dried up it didn't affect me
i grab up ITX, Bismuth, and Nice Shot whenever I see it for sale because without it I can't hunt waterfowl with my vintage guns!
the cost "is what it is" , can't shoot my guns without it.
