Anyone know where I can get bismuth shot in Canada?

I used to get it from Gary Edwards at Superior Canadian Munitions in Edmonton, but he's been shut down for a long time. It shoots very nice and doesn't bruise meat like steel does, but its very expensive. I use it very sparingly in my home-loads.

Wiil is probably your best bet.I purchased some from him a few years ago.He sells the shot but not the loaded shells.At least he did when I purchased my shot.

Thanks for the tips everyone. However, I tried out the e-mail address and got a message back that said the address was no longer valid. Oh well. Just another case of near impossible to find ammunition.

Will does not stock Bismuth any more because there is no current manufacture there is a fellow in the USA Phil lund who makes bismuth shot 507 -228-8972 no problem shipping into Canada because it is a eatable product .

Any Dealer that stocks Kent Ammunition should be able to get you Tungsten Matrix shells which will be identical in performance to Bismuth. Hnatiuks Hunting Supplies sells Kent off the top of my head, give them a call.

Rookie question I'm sure, but can bismuth shotgun shells be shipped into Canada?

My guess would be yes but only to a company that has a licence to import shells.
