I was at shoot today and had the opportunity to admire a nice BRNO over/under whose current owner purchased it used. The stock had a cheek-piece on the left side of the stock for a right-handed shooter. Me being a south-paw, I was very surprised to find that the gun fit me like a glove. It was then that I noticed that the stock was cast-ON. I can only assume that this gun was once owned by a left-handed shooter who had the stock bent. Anyone else ever seen a cheek-piece gun for a right-hander that was cast-on?

No but there was a fellow for many years on the ATA trap circuit out of southern Ontario who was a right handed shooter but left eye dominant who had a custom stock made that put the stock on his right shoulder with the receiver and barrels aligned to his left eye. It was a sight to see but he could sure shoot it well.

This wasn't anywhere nearly as freakish as those S-bend switch-over stocks, but it was clearly a right hand stock cast the wrong way.

That is exactly what he had and unfortunately due to both a left eye dominance and physical handicap he could not mount the gun on his left shoulder. He learned to shoot that S bend stocked gun and very well!! He was always a top 5 finisher at most shoots I saw him at.

I'm selling my BRNO O/U for this exact reason... I was unaware that a stock could be modified this way...
