BL-22 Owners, Tell Me, Is This On Your's Or Is Mine Damaged?

Sorry for the bad pictures but It was the best I could do. Is this little notch on the right side of the barrels shank on yours or is mine damaged?

i would have to say to extractor goes in there??

I had a ruger 22/45 that did that. It's extractor wear. It will only wear to a certain point then stop. Unavoidable.

Either that or it's totally ####ed. In that case, I'll give you $50 to take it off your hands. Unsafe.

Mine has a little "cup" like that but no where near that big

That happens to just about every rimfire with an extrator cut like that. Unavoidable.
