I decided to put a Nikon scope on my BL22. I was at the range Saturday and I couldn't get it to go up to my aiming point. I used cheap dovetail Traditions rings...what am I doing wrong here? Thanks for any suggestions.
Was the scope new? If not center the cross hairs and shoot some paper at 25yds and report how far the elevation is out.Being a lever you can't view piont of aim through the bore but if you hit paper the result should be enough to determine where to go from there.
Hey, thanks for the reply. I took it to my local gun shop and he noticed the front sight, which I thought the scope was clearing, was actually in the way. He took it out, mounted and bore sighted. It'll be a plinking machine now.
