bl22 versus bl22 fld with octagonal barrel

I've been thinking about picking up a Browning BL-22 FLD Grade II with Octagonal barrel (see pic below), unfortunately, there isn't a lot of information on them to be found online. How does this rifle compare to the BL-22, especially in terms of accuracy? It is worth the extra couple hundred dollars over the regular BL-22 FLD Grade II?

They most certainly are nicer to look at.The rest is the same.

I wouldn't say the regular Grade II FLD (see pic below) is any slouch in the looks department. With the octagonal barrel adding a couple hundred dollars to the price tag of this rifle, I'm really interested in finding out if the barrel adds more than just aesthetic appeal. At 24 inches long, I hope it would, but it never hurt to talk to someone who has one.
