Dlask does not have it and will not order it. How do I get the black version of the 20" match barrel? Thanks.

Order from the US pay big bucks. I ordered the silver match model.
You can buy the aluminum barrel which is black but it's not a match chamber just a kidd target model

Fab Sports will not order any - at least for now. I sent a note to Jo Brooks but have not received a response.

yes but you need the import / export paperwork done or use IRGUNS or any other importer

Thanks, I was afraid it would be something like that. A few extra $$$ to do it that way :(

I have two KIDD match barrels, a 20" SS Bull that is threaded 1/2x28 and a 16" SS fluted and would trade one or the other for a 16" fluted SS 1/2x28 threaded match barrel. Just too tough trying to find one in Canada as I have been looking for years for a new/used one. We need a Canadian dealer rep for KIDD stuff.

I just bought a KiDD 20" stainless barrel new for $390. cdn in Canada. it didn't come with a option of threaded as this one is there Match chambered barrel the others aren't that are sold here. I haven't installed it as I'm having second thoughts on this project. yes a KiDD threaded 16" or 18" would be a better choice for me.

Don't worry about using the KIDD on your build, they are the best shooting 10/22 barrels out there. The 20" is the best of the pick for accuracy. I might just end up sending my 16" to be threaded aftermarket.

Yep the Kidd 20" is the most accurate of all the kid barrels! Do not get rid of hair Kidd barrel sir! Lol I repeat! Keep it! The only barrel aftermarket I owned that ever shot great was one stainless green mountain and my buddy witnessed me shoot a group at 100 yards 1/4" or smaller! Like 5+ shots in under a 1/4" at 100 yards of a plastic cheapo gun rest. Had a factory ruger bolt assembly too lol. Now I have a Kidd rifle built off a volquartsen stainless steel receiver which is drool worthy but really heavy I'd say. I'd like a fluted Kidd barrel for kicks but can't find one and the aluminum Kidd barrel sort of peaks my interest to build a super light gun

When using optics, barrel length has SFA to do with accuracy. Extra barrel length in a rim fire does result in lower muzzle velocity though.

the loss in velocity is so minimal in a 22 with shorter barrels its not even worth mentioning in polite company.
if your bored to to the web page velocity by the inch where the guys cut a inch off a 22 barrel and crono'd it each time.
the loss in velocity is so minimal it funny.

Just got a black fluted and threaded 16" Kidd from hical. Excellent barrel i was able to do 1/4" at 50yards. Very happy with all Kidd products i own.

Perhaps the average velocity difference is at a minimum with the 20"?

I just looked and there is no more 16" threaded ones :(
