Black and Green???

I believe a black rifle is any assault rifle like an AR15 but what is a green rifle? The same thing in green? LOL Sorry for such a newbie question but could someone give me the exact definition of a black and green rifle?

FYI: The AR-15 and other semi-automatic sporting rifles are NOT "assault rifles!" They are sporting rifles. Assault rifles are select fire/fully automatic rifles used by military & law enforcement. An M-16 is an assault rifle. A civilian AR-15 is NOT!

We need to keep making this differentiation...if gun guys continue to use it, how can we blame the media for constantly using those loaded buzz words?

Same goes for the whole "High Cap" Magazines. They're not "hi-cap" or "high cap" they are STANDARD capacity or full capacity magazines.

While it may sound like nitpicking to some people, we're all better off if we don't call our hobby/sporting firearms by names such as "assault rifle" and so on.

Green, as in green with envy, is the colour you turn when you see all the other guys with their black rifles.
