Today was the final session of my Black Badge course which culminated in a sanctioned match.
Things went awesome for the most part, with only my bad knees causing some concern in the kneeling and prone sections.

Came time to compete and I was all set to have a blast ;) when the unthinkable happened -my very first squib :eek:!!! On the first friggin shot no less:(
So I took a zero and limped off.
Rest of the course of fire went off with only a brain fart on the third stage when I forgot to shoot through a port:rolleyes:

Huge thanks to Rob S. from Winnipeg for taking the time to come and teach the course.

I am eager to start competing and look forward to meeting other IPSC shooters in Manitoba in the near future and anywhere else after that.

Was going to be 11 but one guy backed out. On start of course one guy no-showed so we ended up with 9 students.
For the shoot today we had an extra 4 competitors.

And you are right - the bug has been caught:D

I look forward to spotting the mini van with Ontario plates full of shooters at the next match...:D
