I will be putting on a IPSC Black Badge Course November 4/5 in Taber in the indoor range. Cost is $230 which includes your first match fee, books, lunch both days and 2 days of instruction. To take the course you will need a firearm 9 x 19 or larger, 4 mags (5 preferred), a holster, mag holders, belts, safety glasses, ear protection and 500 rounds of ammunition. You will be on the range for 2 days about 8 hours or more a day. There is a 3 hour open book exam before the course. There is a $100 deposit to reserve a spot.

I remember Black Badge courses, Walter. How great it all has progressed! I still have my Black badge #1 somewhere. My IPSC # is L356.

Colt 45 1911, would not feed hardball, right out of the box! Then Bob Mac and Reg would breathe on them, and they worked.

5.2g of 700X, 200g Semi-Wadcutter No 68 Hensly and Gibbs mold? Am I old or what!

Just a tad Mike. these days i see a lot of shadows showing up in BB courses along with a few M&Ps and Glocks. It is still a lot of fun.

Walter,

The fact that the Canadian Government still allows people to wear pistols on person? Even if only done in a safe range environment? Amazes me.
Keep up the good work.

I' m new to the sport and very interested.still waiting my PAL.
IF COURSES OFFERED IN CALGARY AREA, I would definetly enroll.
