Black C79A2?

I'm one EE lower away from treating myself with an IOP CC SA20, not sure if I'm gonna put any optics on it right away but I might want to top it of with a C79A2 or C79 anyway cause I have no interest in the CF green... is there a new black version of these on the market or are black cover available anyway? The only one I've seen are used and old stuff.

Yup, they are still available (new) with the black rubber armour. You can order them through Elcan retailers (I'd recommend NordicMarksman). Just specify that you want one in black.

Right on thanks, I see the option is mentioned on their site. I didn't realize they were that expensive tho, somehow I was assuming they were priced lower than the OS4x.

I'm with Fenceline on this one. You cannot purchase the green rubber cover separate, the only way to get one is with the optic. There are a bunch of guys out there
that want one but cannot get one, believe me, I've been asking Armament Technology (Elcan Distributor) for months to release them for sale, but they are holding
fast.

When the day comes you want to sell your C79, If you have both covers it will be a quick sale with the green.

Black covers are easy to find.

Not sure why they wont sell them separate...must be more to it then meets the eye.

I picked up a green cover from Armament Technologies. Be advised that it is a one for one exchange through them. You will likely have to provide your SN. They are not keen on retro-fitting non-legit C79s with new green covers.
