Black Cloud & blind side

What are the differences between the 2? Is Black Cloud really that hard on tubes? Some of the boys were using Hevi metal but it is getting pretty price. Thanks for your views.

40% of black cloud pellets have a ring around them. Blind side is hexagonal shape I believe. I've never used it. Black cloud didn't impress me.

I wasn't impressed the best part about them are the wads, if they'd load them with round traditional steel they'd be even better. Seems like we're getting charged extra for the less well finished shot. The thing about black cloud and chokes is that it needs way less choke then traditional lead or steel, if shots are less then 30 yards cylinder or improved cylinder is best, 30-40 light modified or modified is what I found best.
A lot of guys I know are swearing by the heavy metal, I wasn't impressed for the price. I like Kent Faststeel and even Winchester xpersts inside 40 yards. I stock up on federal classic steel 1400fps loads every time I find them.

Have tried the blind side its awesome out to about 25 yards .after that the pattern goes all to hell . not worth the price in my mind so I will stick with the kent faststeel and federal speed shok .

Another Kent Fasteel User here. Although I do have some stocking stuffer BlackCloud and Heavy Metal to use up this coming season.

One thing is when only one using blind side it is easy to tell who's birds you are cleaning. Found some steel 2s in the breast fat last year, no penetration through late season feathers. Another good reason to shoot them in the face.
