Has anyone had any issues with their's?? Do they require any maintenance? I am getting one on trade and was just wondering how it was going to work since its used and the other drum on the market has so many issues.

I picked one up last summer from fabsports. No real complaints so far, i find it does tend to FTF the faster your shoot, maybe 4 out of 10 shots (pulling the trigger as fast as i can) however; this could just be a dirty rifle or what have you. Some have said that a little filing down of the feed lips helps with this issue, however this i have not done. Also, i found it added significant weight, which maybe is a sorta an obvious observation but something to think about.

Overall, i do like the mag, quite handy for those gopher shoots.

I haven't had any issues with mine....yet. I don't see it needing much maintenance. However, I feel that the follower design could use refining. The drum is simple to disassemble, I usually leave mine disassembled to prolong the life of the spring (likely unnecessary).

I have loaded mine up maybe 7 or 8 times.. I bought it from the E.E. From someone stating it was new. Out of the first 50 rounds maybe 6 failed to feed. This is with federal bulk. By the last full load I had no ftf's. I have a video on my iPhone of the last 50 rounds and it worked perfectly. I'd post it on here but I haven't figured that out yet.

Ive probably put a bit over 500 through of a variety of ammo. Maybe I just gave up on it too soon if it sounds like it gets better the more it's broken in?

No real issues . But you can't use a speed loader and for the price you can buy 3 steel lips mags , and they can use a speed loader. Fun loaded up once after that the novelty wears off

Hmm, I would imagine if I were buying one of these, it's got something to do with the enjoyment of unloading a LOT of rounds, and quickly, like say, rapido :50cal:
4 out of 10 fails is not acceptable for it's intended use, or at least what I would use it for :)
