Just wondering if there are any Black Friday Deals that our Canadian shops are putting on?
If not, what are the issues I should be concerned about when buying stuff in the states?
I do know about the new optics laws. Is there really a max of $100 limit on all firearms related parts when shipping?

The only real issue that would concern me is a state trooper pointing a gun at me and mabey going to jail, getting banned entry, being an alien with guns or parts not in possession of an export permit. If this does not concern you declare your items when you get back on our side and your fine!

Really its a us export law not a Canadian one and to be taken seriously.

Sucks I saw US cabelas has the 1022 for 160 on sale cabelas here nothing at all.

I would be very careful about bringing any firearms related items back unless it is things like slings, recoil pads etc. Of course anything is fine as long as you don't get caught. All it takes is someone down there to bump into you at a red light and you could be in for trouble if they decide to check out your vehicle. Not only that, I was talking to a couple who just this fall were in Minnesota. When they got to the Border to re-enter into Manitoba, all vehicles were being pulled over on the US side first. Homeland security was set up and they had portable xray equipment and were xraying all vehicles as well as semi-truck riggs. Apparently they randomly do this at whatever crossings they decide to set up at. So, it is up to you.
