Does anyone find the accuracy with Federal Green tip 5.56 to be all over the place? Yet when I went to Fiocci 223 it was near the same hole every shot.

Never had much luck with accuracy out of Federal 55gr; that's basically cheap AR fodder. Things were much better with a heavier bullet and quality ammunition. And I think that has more to do with the particular barrel and the ammo than with there being a Renegade behind it.

I suspect that any of the civilian "green tip" ammo is a bit lacking due to concentrically issues with the placement of the penetrator. I'm guessing that the military gets the QC passed ones and we get the rest. None of what I've just said is based on anything other than my speculation and is not to be considered factual information.

Most military ammo meets an acceptable standard for accuracy and reliability. The balance will lean toward reliability over everything else. It will seldom reach match grade ammo or reload performance but will go bang and hit were aimed consistently. I generally add 1" to my typical reload or match ammo for expected group size. Of all military ammo, surprisingly IVI 62gr M77 ball seems to shoot better than most but difficult to source.

Currently the price is $200 on top of the price of the rifle for 3 parts, handguard, upper receiver and lower. Yes the Custom Order Cerakote version is also on sale 10% off on the website (not 15%).
