So the wife says I can only keep one, and no she didn't believe the "but they are like are children" line.

The White is New/New the Tan has been awesome. Both are NR 5.56 XCR-L.

Which would you keep?

Personally I would keep the Tan... but. If the white were in a winter/snow camouflage of sorts, I would keep the white.

Just do what others have done. Place it on EE with an inflated price tag. "look honey, I have it up for sale"

Hmm, I can see no short term holes with this plan. Let's see gun $2700+2 Pmags $45= $2745 now add in the "WTF is that guy smoking" multiplier say 10% = $3019.50?

I haven't worked out the long term aspect of this plan because I have never been "ordered" by my wife to sell any of my firearms.But, yes try it out see how it goes for a bit.

As for ditching your wife over guns... c'mon. Nothing indicates a phallic fetish more than that.
 
There is a very simple answer to your problem, and no it's not getting rid of the wife lol Sell the white one, I'm sorry but the color is just wrong on any rifle. Then take the money from the sale and get yourself a XCR-M in tan. Only take one rifle out at a time as they are very similar in looks to the un trained eye. The louder bang of the M can be simply explained as a caliber conversion kit ;)

...Good idea. That and the 'stormtrooper' gun is for "a galaxy far, far away". lol
 
I would keep both and buy an M then just give the wife a couple hundred bucks and tell her to go buy herself a pair of shoes or a purse to help her forget that you spent the money.

Or tell her you used the money from selling other rifles to pay for this one so it is essentially free.

If the first two options don't work tell her you bought it for her so you can have more together time. We all know she'll either come out once and hate it which makes it yours again or she'll love it and you have her support to buy more toys in the future.

I've only done this a few times ;) one of the above always works.

And the manliest answer is to ask how did she find out in the first place? What was she doing out of the kitchen, bedroom, or laundry room? ;)

We'll go out Friday and break in the new one then it won't be worth selling because it is used and you'll lose too much money on it if you sell it now :D
 
I do have a serious question here and not criticizing but why did you buy the same rifle in same caliber in two different colors? Should have bought one in .223 and the other in 7.62x39 or 6.8 if that's your thing.
