Can anyone suggest some good books for loading black powder cartridges? I have reloaded for pistol and rifle quite a bit and have shot lots of flintlocks, but have never tried to combined the two. Just looking for some good resources. Thanks.

Sam Fadalas book "Blackpowder Loading Manual" has a section on cartridge guns.
The Lyman and Hodgdon manuals have black powder cartridge data.
Look for articles by the famous writer Mike Venturino. He is really into black powder cartridge loading.

I got a lot of value from the "Lyman Black Powder Handbook & Loading Manual" by Sam Fadala. There are also articles in it written by Mike Venturino. It does deal largely with muzzle loaders and almost all the data in it is for muzzle loaders but there is a bunch of helpful advice for black powder cartridge and several sections on BPCR specifically. I've also gotten a lot of helpful information from YouTube videos and various websites. One site in particular I read a lot from was from LASC or Los Angeles Silhouette Club. They have a pile of really helpful articles about BPCR.
There are a number of small handbooks written by various authors available through sites like Track of the Wolf specifically about black powder cartridge shooting. They aren't major publications so aren't available all over the place. I've been meaning to order a couple books from Track that I have saved in my favourites but haven't gotten yet. If you search their site for "black powder cartridge" there are a couple books that come up.
