Black Rifle Friendly outdoor ranges in Southern On

Hi Everyone,

Since Silverdale has capped their memberships until the fall, does anyone have a reccomendation for black rifle friendly ranges in southern Ontario? Preferably outdoor...

I would say that EESA is just about the friendliest range around. They seem to have the most 2- and 3- gun matches of anyone in SWO.
 
I also highly recommend East Elgin Sportsman Association for all your Black Rifle shooting.
We would be happy to gain fine new members as yourself.

Alot of Old fart clubs may shun us, but we can bring you the happiness you deserve! Good man, Moderator and President of our facility is Stormbringer. Get in touch with him and he will have you sucked in to our crazy cult.

In case Big Brother is watching, I was kidding about the cult. Lol!

I will look into EESA, though sadly at 2.5 hours trip each way, it isn't likley to be my home range :(

I'm still open to suggestions! And I apologize if this has been beaten like a dead horse in the past.

Lost another one. I see your point about the drive. Dont we have a list of the clubs on cgn somewhere? I thought we did.
 
I wouldn't count EESA out just yet, but Trying to get there any day other than a Sat or Sun would be difficult.

There is a list of all Ranges in Ontario in the Newbie section - however these aren't clear about their acceptance of black rifles or the various shooting sports. It also lists groups like the ORA as ranges.

It sucks that people can be so picky about what kind of Guns you like to shoot. I remember going to another club in the London Area where I was a member only briefly, where I was told "we don't shoot those THINGS here!" " Your going to have to leave!" mind you it was over 10 years ago, but I will never go there again.
 
If Silverdale is close to you, you can't be that far from the Hamilton Anglers and Hunters Association (HAHA Club). It is more of a "hunting" club, but I have been shooting military type rifles there for years. 100 yard range for rifle, 50 for hand gun. Skeet, trap and archery. Hand gun range folks seem to be getting into Cowboy if that is of interest.
