Black Special shooting consistently low

I recently bought a Black Special and it constantly hits low. Even with elevation on the sights cranked all the way up it will barely hit the bottom of a 1 1/2 foot square piece of cardboard at 100m. I have tried winchester super X 55 gr PSP, Remington 69gr matchking, and hand loads of 55 gr PSP infront of 23 gr of Varget. All of these rounds hit low. Has anyone else run into a similar problem?

My sights took a little time to get used to but nothing like that. I suggest making sure you understand how to use them (in the book). I don't mean any disrespect and this is not a flame, just a suggestion. If I line up circle on circle and underline the target (not cover a with some guns)with the front sight it is dead on everytime. There are much more gun savy guys on here that can hopefully provide better/more advice.

Good luck..

are you using the front flip up night sight? If you are using it and not properly lining up the front and the dots on the rear sight you will be low (or high) depending.

Now i just feel like a dumb####, I was using the flip up night sight, had no idea I wasn't supposed to... ahh well, not the first dumb thing I have done.

Happend to me too, (plus I was using once the "2"-setting on the rear drum during a match, and I was wondering all the time why my shots we're all low).

hehe black special noobs!

yup happend to me too, I was using the night sight... next trip to the range I had to figure how to align the sight. After that it was long range sweetness there after.
