Are there any problems or possible damage when shooting Blackcloud 3" steel shotshells when using a 20g with standard Browning Invector Plus mobile chokes. Obviously I would not be using full choke to avoid damage to barrel.
Thanks

I wouldn't see a problem I use it in my SX3 20 ga. with the factory chokes. The only problem with blackcloud is you cannot use a "wad stripping" choke with it like Pattermaster. The wad itself acts as a wad stripping choke.

Blackcloud is awesome on geese in 12 Ga. I have not experienced it in 20 Ga. I would NOT use anything thighter than LM with BB or larger pellets (BBB) of steel on geese.

Henry;)

I have just watched many geese fall to BC. 2 wks with friends from US 2 3/4 #4 made some great kills. #2 3 & 3 1/2 were used by most. Over decoys the 2 3/4 were great. I have never shot BC, but they hit hard, I believe the long tight wad/shot tube is the reason. Your 20 will shoot them IMHO. Over decoys you will have enough power to take any honker.

As per the box "Best performance is achieved with steel shot chokes that do not strip the wad or reduce muzzle pressure." I have had good luck with it in 12ga and 20ga, but on shots under 15 to 20 yards it makes a mess of ducks.
