What are the reviews on this stuff, anyone have any issues with it or does it go bang and cycle thru as expected?
CCI Blaser 9mm aluminum cased FMJ

Shot lots of the 9mm, 45acp, 38 Special and 357 Mag, all went bang and had not one problem with the ammunition.

I've shot lots of it, and it was as reliable as any other 9mm brass cased ammo. It was kind of refreshing in a way not to have to bother picking up the spent brass as I would from other brands of ammo.

Great ammo, never had an issue, I use it for matches where I don't want to pick up the brass or it's a lost brass match. It normally retails for less than the brass.

Blazer aluminum is the only ammo that fails to eject from my CZ-Shadow. Bought a thousand rounds two years ago and I've had maybe one fail every three mags or so, bought a thousand rounds of Sellier and Bellot at the same time and not a single issue.

Just buy it. Good choice for factory quality ammo esp if you don't reload.
Anyone ever chrono aluminum cased ammo vs. brass ammo? Wonder if they are loaded a bit lighter for power factor issues.
I remember CCI used to have their 200gr Flying Ashtray JHP .45 rds loaded into their Blazer line.

Aluminum was 1140 fps with the 124 grain 9mm for a power factor of 142000.
Brass was 1163 fps with the 124 grain 9mm for a power factor of 144000.
I did also shot Remington 124 grain 9mm, I didn't get the fps but the power factor was 131000.
The Remington feels light when you shot it compared to the Blazer. You can't tell the difference between the Aluminum and Brass Blazer.

when I had a smith and Wesson model 19 in .357 magnum the best priced ammo was the aluminum blazer. It shot fine, but unfortunately the cases would expand and be a pain to remove from the gun. Brass would not do that.
Also a friend's famai saf mini was having troubles with the 9mm ammo.

otherwise; if no troubles firing any of their ammo in a gun and no plans to reload, go for it. It's affordable and usually works well.

Same problem I had with it, have not bought any since.

I haven't used it yet, but I plan on doing reliability testing with it in my CZ 75B and my new NP27.

ive put maybe 750 rounds of this through my CZ75b , not a single problem, squeeze trigger, and it goes bang as it should, ive switched to blazer for all my plinking needs between my 9mm and my 22 , its the most reliable ive found so far, short of the cci for my 22 but thats a different thread,

Works fine for me, the only issue being the really light cases eject so hard they ricochet off the sides of the lane enclosure and ping me in side of the head.
Outdoors they fly about twice as far as brass.
