I have one on a Tikka Tac A1, 20" 308. I like it, it is not the BEST bipod ever, but it functions very well and I like the low profile while it is tucked away, but quick to deploy, can extend the legs and is very sturdy. Expensive as a unit, but you look for a decent forend and bipod and this is only a bit more with all of the advantages. Guys at the range are amazed when I uncase the rifle and they wonder where my bipod is, until I kick out the legs and drop a rear bag.
For me I feel it’s 90% there. Appearance is subjective. Function is another thing. I know it’s a tall order, but it would be nice if it was lighter. (Mine is on a modern Sporter). My second gripe, is that deploying the bipod is great. Quick, and with confidence. What I dislike is it seems to drop the marbles when you go to pack it away. It’s quite sensitive and awkward. .
That's exciting. I want to know how sturdy it is, and I'm wondering if 14 or 16 inch is best. And for the weight, Ian claimed it was lighter than their other rifle setup, when you add the forend and bipod weights together
