No matter how careful I am for some reason some blood will make it to the floor of my garage when I hang my deer. How do you guys clean that, especially in the cold season when hot water isn't an option?
ANy magic trick that can erase it with no trace?

Never tried it on concrete but hydrogen peroxide will remove blood stains iirc, I don’t have concrete shop floors so I just put down a layer of poly when I’m quartering. It’s cheap, I buy the 4mil painters drop sheets for a couple bucks at the building supply store.

I'll try some peroxide.
The blue tarp worked well but I still managed to loose some blood on the floor. My garage is a hub for deer quartering as my hunting buddy doesn't have a garage.

looks like I screwed up the title of this thread, I have no way to edit the title :)

You click in to Edit Post, then "Go Advanced", then you can edit the title.

I use a cardboard box or a drop sheet. But I also don't mind waiting for warmer weather, if I must.

I also have a couple cheap old stainless steel salad bowls that can be thrown under the carcass in the event that I have one that drips. Makes a swell place to drop the paper towels while wiping down, too, and those can stay in until the carcass gets processed or taken to the butcher.

When it warms up bleach and tsp clean anything up. google directions. I wet it, wait for it to soften and scrub with a coarse broom/brush. Wear glasses.

That’s why I switched to the poly drop sheet, the blue tarp I was using wasn’t cutting it haha. I thankfully had a cloth painters drop under the tarp and no blood soaked into the plywood subfloor.

there are a few of those "OXY" brand cleaners that will do the trick nicely.
Hydrogen peroxide and some detergent powder and soak it up with some sawdust shavings
wear gloves with the peroxide though.... depending on the strength you buy.
I got some 35% solution for cleaning skulls and it burns the skin before you know it's on you.
