I had one of these in my hands today and what a gorgeous gal she was.
Had the belly of a pregnant gal too.
Vertually flawless other than the trigger was worked and released
ohhhhh soooo nice.
Equiped with an era specific Weaver 1.5-3.5???
My old school buddy asked me what it was worth?
No idea with the belly mag in 95% +.
I don't think it's for sale, but hmmmmmmmmmm.
No photos, sorry, forgot my camera.

It's got some collector value as a nearly-flawless pre-81 in a cal other than .308. Somebody might pay around $650 but I suspect that there are very few who collect these with most preferring the 81. There's a .358 pre-81 on the EE right now that's had several BTTs for around that price so maybe I'm way off. Sounds like a nice gun anyway, always wanted a BLR 81 in .243 (or 7mm-08 but that's a whole other thread).

Sounds like a great rifle. I always felt that the .243 was a great calibre for deer and such. I also believe that any hammer rifle like the Win 94, is one of the fastest rifles to mount and fire if checking game cover. And to have it in .243 in a Browning lever with mags - nirvana. You can use Spitzer Noslers or whatever which in not a good idea in a tubular magazine.cou:

Hope that you can acquire it.

I wasn't too far out to lunch then.
I figured with that scope set up, $750.00
Is Gary still on this planet?
I figured he would of jumped through this monitor.........tee hee........
