I'm getting a Browning BLR in the 308, or 300WinMag pretty soon, and I'm looking for some ideas on sights as I do not like the stock ones.
It'll be used as a brush gun, so nothing past 150 yards, though I doubt it will ever get that lengthy. Ontario big game are the target so moose, black bear, perhaps saskewatch, but mostly whitetail.
I was thinking some sort of Peep sight, something that shoulders fast and gives a good field of view. Also wanted to put on a front red fibre optic blade.
Im not really considering scopes as an option as i find them cumbersome in the bush.
Maybe even a reddot?
If you could give some brand names or even first hand experience it would be greatly helpful.
