Blr bipod help needed !!!!

I recently bought a blr 22-250 I wanted to get a bipod for the gun. I wanted to get a Harris one that attaches to the sling stud, but on ts gun the end of the stock flares out and sort of sticks out. Farther than the stud. Would the bipod still attach to this? I don't think it would. What are my options?
